About

I live in the countryside, one hour west of Montreal, Qc, Canada.
My family includes a husband, a rescue dog & cat, and 5, (no wait 4) beloved chickens, who used to be called the High Fives, and are now The Fab Four.
A background in Interior design, paint finish application, retail shop and gallery ownership have all collided, resulting
in my textural works of art.

The studio space

My  studio is located in a converted horse barn located in St. Lazare, Qc.
This unique artistic space
(Smith + Farnum studio) is shared with artist Allison Robin Smith.
We 2 Montreal area artists each work in a whitewashed box stall, and use the remainder of the barn as a kitchen/meeting area, photography room and packing station.
The studio menagerie includes 3 dogs: Gretta, Willow and Owen, and a few random mice.
