Nancy lives in the countryside, one hour west of Montreal, Qc, Canada.
Her family includes a husband, a rescue dog & cat, and 5 beloved chickens, called The High Fives.
A background in Interior design, paint finish application, retail shop and gallery ownership have all collided, resulting
in these textural works of art.

Studio Space

The studio is located in a converted horse barn located in St. Lazare, Qc. This unique artistic space
(Hillside Studio) is shared with artist Allison Robin Smith.
The 2 Montreal area artists each work in a whitewashed box stall, and utilize the remainder of the barn as
kitchen/meeting area, photography room and packing station.
The studio menagerie includes 3 dogs: Gretta, Willow and Owen, and a few random mice.

Nancy is inspired by being in nature, natural elements, textures & experimentation.
Everyday materials and objects are used together to create her textural artwork. The best results are often achieved by a seemingly bad mistake.
